Who we are

Meet MapHabit

MapHabit is a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting independence, reducing stress, and improving quality of life through evidence-based technology and tailored support.

Our Story

CEO and Co-Founder Matt Golden, inspired by his uncle's Alzheimer's diagnosis and cousin with Down syndrome, identified a gap in healthcare: the need for an affordable and accessible solution to improve the quality of life for those requiring cognitive support and their care partners. Together with neuroscientist and Co-Founder Stuart Zola, Ph.D, the two developed an evidence-based, habit-building platform to fill that gap.

Why Our Members Love MapHabit

Cyndy Hund

Self-Advocate

"MapHabit helps me talk to [my husband] about issues I’m having because now he knows how to fix them. Before, I didn’t want to admit where I was having trouble. Now, if I can tell him, ‘I can’t do this,’ he can make a map for me, and I can do it. That makes me feel better—everything’s not thrown onto him. We’re in this together."

Dr. Annette Mims

Family Care Partner

“MapHabit is a blessing to me, as well as those who care for my mom. My stress level was reduced, important questions were answered, and I received kind, patient, and beneficial support!”

Grace Hudson

Self-Advocate

“I wash my face, brush my teeth, and put the towel up to dry [with MapHabit]. I want to do more maps!”
